a new law for posting on news threads?

NO more re-posting of news, etc. (many of us can read online with our Android/BB phones throughout the day) thus eating up LYK bandwidth and overwhelming the rest of the posters on this board.

Also: most news links you posted doesn't have a URL reference (even though I know where you cut-n-paste them from), which is in violation to our posting conditions set before.


You've been warned 2nd  time. one more warning and we'll strip you out of LYK posting privileges.

We received numerous complaints about your repostings (cut-n-paste) of news that we can get from regular channels/sites, and your action literally annoys many other LYKers (received numerous complaints) about eating up LYK board/bandwidths.

From now on: you either limit yourself to 5 newslink postings per day, with proper URL reference and such, or none at all.

Personally, I like the news Posts, since the only other site I go for news is MingPaoVan.
I think having a section just for the news would be good.

tiffiant, put ur "meaningful" comment instead of just copy and paste. otherwise, ppl would look at them as spam

You should also copy and paste your news at the "NEWS" section on LYK only (with reference link). This is a MUST.

If not, we will continue remove your posts and suspend your membership.

Well, I actually find Tiff's repost news OK...as long as they are labeled properly so I know they are news...

just that they should be kept in the appropriate sections

I actually read news here more often than reading news on other websites.......
