this is probably wrong, but what my friend did was that he just type some random words, but have the font colour as white... so when the prof really did a word count, those invisible fonts will be counted, but will not be seen... lol... ah, good old university days... lol

but 1205 words and 3000 words? There are too much different.

if that's a research kind of paper, then maybe just find some journals that has similar experiments or research as your paper...  , and then summarize their research and experiments methods/techniques...... instead of just saying what they have found..  
and maybe from there you compare your own with their researches...   that may get you 1 or 2 more pages of words if you haven't done that already..

Well it's more like a 狀態 problem...usually i can whip up a 3000 words paper in one night no problem...
This time i just can't push myself that hard...don't know why...
oh well...2% a day...i can live with that...hand in tomorrow...
