咁雖然我自己都仲係唔信１２月係世界末日，但係我當＂走火鬼演習＂，做一啲心裡同物質上嘅準備都冇害呀？我就一向都有放一個細first aid kit同一箱水喺車，因爲我自己覺得有咩事如果我係渣緊車會緊急啲。屋企就真係好鬆散，除咗有一大堆scented candles同長期有一箱 san pellegrino之外，我係冇乜裝備應付緊急事故。
Instead of believing 末日, better be prepared of earthquake (or Fraser River will flood).
Always want to get a survival kit from costco. I think selling for $7x or $1xx (the more deluxe version).
At home, I always have big pack of bottle water available. And some canned food. I also have a backup power generator (hm...those can charged and then generate power for a few hours). But haven't recharged for some time so I should actually take it out and check the battery level...probably need to re-charge.
But those bottle water do have expiry date...so I've been using the expired water to water the plant... >_<
Apocalypse is a Western fascination, lots of literature and films about how to survive. Funny how the east and islam never think about that sort of thing.

I agree. I am more like preparing for any emergency situation (e.g. Earthquake)
I don't drink bottle water nor eat canned food. But I do have some brown rice at home. I got some packaged water that will last for a few years (longer expiry than bottle water and light packing so that I can travel with them by foot). I also got some emergency food (similar to shortbread cookies), camping blankets and a first-aid kit. They are packaged as a little backpack at home, in my hubby's car (I do noticed that he takes it out and puts it in the storage from time to time. sigh~~) and under the desk in my office.
I think having a bag near those supplies is as important as the supplies themselves. high chance that you need to leave home and carry them around, right?
I don't have a backyard so I can't store too much things like generator, gas nor tools.
I need to add a radio to my package.. which I have forgotten... I should get one soon.
Ammm.. how come no one invite a hand powered USB charger? That will help to power a lot of devices.
