Does anyone know what do i need for traveling back to canada with my pet for one day road trip? I got rabies shot for my dog~ what else I need?

Traveling to US and then back to Canada?

If you are bring your dog to and from the State, updated rabies shot paper is what you need.  We drove with our dog down to the State for at least 30-40 times.  So far they never looked at the paper, only one time the US custom asked whether we have needle paper.  

Flying to/from the State should be the same.  For domestic flight, small size dog could could fit into a hand-carry size luggage bag could travel with people and stay in the cabin.  Bigger size dog will need to stay in the cargo area.

If you're traveling from HK to Canada, your dog will need a quarantine period if I remember since HK is a rabies active zone (or whatever they call it).

Oh, one more thing, your dog food.  In theory, when going down to the State, you could only bring dog food that sells in US as well.  I know EVO (from Tisol) is one of them.

Again, so far none of the custom check on this.  Plus if you're just going for a day trip, you may not need to bring dog food with you.
