I think it's hard to find that in Vancouver, maybe even Canada. I thought about that before, but after I walked by the ferrari store at aberdeen, I'm getting the ferrari one when my boy is big enough to use that!!

I think I posted it some time ago:

Seats bought in U.S. may not be approved in Canada
Transport Canada says its tests of infant car seats require use of the LATCH system as well as seatbelts, unlike U.S. tests.

To be approved for sale in Canada, infant car seats must pass Canadian standards — so if you come across a good deal on a car seat while travelling through the United States, you might want to doublecheck that it is approved for sale in Canada.

Your insurance company will likely not cover a claim involving a car seat not approved for sale here.

My bf asked me to get a Recaro child seat for my niece ... and I ignored him.
but instead her parents got her McLaren stroller But I guess it's just a name.. nothing to do with the race team.

I am using Recaro on my STi for a 10 months old.

It is true that you cannot buy the carseat from the US and use it in Canada.

I also have a Britax Carseat in my Jeep.

In my options, the Britax is better, as it is easier to pull it tight, but that the Recaro is good as well.

yes I know US has a different standard...but my friend bought one nonetheless....
