What will 2020 be like? 7 years away.

• Screen, lots of screens
• No more Television.  No one will use that word (like Telephone)
• convenience over quality (for music, video, food, etc...)
• "3D printing" will be big.  Things can be customizable easily and just buy a design and have it created.  I doubt it'll be called 3D printing.
• people have to get much smarter to survive because the leveled playing field
• a new art form will be born.  Movies and games will survive, but there'll be a new art form that involves will more senses and new experience.
• Food will get cheaper and nastier

china will take over the world

tons of touch screen
everything will be digital and wireless
mandarin dominates

google glass is the standard equipment.
3d printing gets popular.
most apps go cloud.
population density gets higher all around the world.
China rises.
Pollution gets worse.

我覺得分別唔會好大，只不過係７年後，回想起７年前，２００６都唔係同依家好大分別。

你話pollution變差嗰啲，咁唔洗講都唔慌會有好轉啦，呢個係亞媽係女人嘅廢話。

我覺得電視唔會冇㗎，仲有咁多人追＂老表＂我覺得７年後郭晉安都係差唔多樣。

３D其實都出咗幾年，有幾流行我唔知，但係我唔覺得７年後會變主流。繼續多3D電影我信，但係電視節目唔會3D啦，成本太貴，用咁多部機拍，我覺得睇電視嘅人係睇橋，唔係睇官能刺激。即係你睇family guy都唔使睇HD一樣。


電玩方面我覺得電腦operating system同電話會一樣，可能andriod已經成爲一般operating system你電話已經可以做晒平日電腦要做嘅嘢，包括係文件處理／download BT，咁你就再唔洗分電話電腦，而且所有資料都係網上化，你有access to一個software／app就邊個device你都可以log in用到。

相機全面電腦化，所有相機都會上到網而且唔洗memory card。

一般食物／超市會趨向日本化，啲包裝會精緻啲，款式多啲，吸引力大啲，user-friendly啲，而且份量少啲。咁因爲地方貴，你啲咩london drugs／shoppers會越開越細間，所以咩都袖珍啲。

- less but prob still around. It took a while for analog TV signal to go away

- TOTALLY agree. 3D printing would common/implemented on a lot of things.

I think there will be new way of sensing input. Touch screen may be the "old way".

That's a big difference, compare to the latest iOS and android phones we use today.  Who knows what they'll be like 7 yrs from now...

但係你講嗰啲OS係好細，我講係一般生活唔會大變。你攞住個sony ericsson嗰陣日日send sms依家日日send whatsapp，咁有唔同，不過好少囉。

    Not only SMS becomes whatsapp, but people actually do a LOT more on phones now compare to 7 yrs ago.  A working web browser, urbanspoon, evernote, map / gps, news reader, etc etc..

So I don't agree with you that it hasn't changed much from the SE W800i days.
