Depends on different categories, necessities and luxury items:
Necessities: Food, beverages-water, juices, milk, clothing, gasoline, Luxury items: Jewellery , formal wears, mega house, yacht, electronic, high end camera
The Necessities are quite affordable, basic rice, flour, meat, dairy are relatively inexpensive compared to Hong Kong, Luxury is something I don't really need so they don't bother me much. I don't have to pay mortgage and rent so it is quite easy to get by
I don't care general price here in Vancouver, cos I can't do anything about it. But what makes me mad is even LIVE Vancouver Crabs are cheaper in Toronto's T&T's. That is when I feel ripped off. Other than that, I accept the price and buy less.
