One Day Road Trip to Bellevue, WA Trip, Road, Bellevue, Day, One

My friend and I are going to drive down to Bellevue WA in the next two days...
so far we have two highlights of the day:

Tulip Festival
Bellevue Square (shopping)

Any places/ things to do/ places to eat recommendation from experienced LYKs?

the italian restaurant just below bellevue square is EXCELLENT! me and my bf goes there to eat everytime...
i love their pizza and the creamy tomato penne!

i think its called pagliacci..its just right on the bottom floor of the parking lot~

Cheesecake Factory on the ground floor of the Bellevue Square is good.  It not only serve cheesecake but regular meal as well.

For you info, I used to live in Vancouver, but now live in Seattle.  So, here are my suggestions.  You would however have to tell me your budgets, as the following are places that demand some higher $$$.  But hey, Canadian money is strong, so it's isn't as bad as before la!

1> Maggiano's Little Italy | Italian-American Dining - A good pick with you have a large group, since you can go for their family style dinner, you can re-order more of what you like, and you can take home the left-over)

In my opinions: Cheesecake factory is not very good for dinner, but famous for the cheesecake.  You can always get dinner first, then go to cheesecake factory for cheesecakes.

Other less-expensive options includes

1> Olive Garden - Italian Pasta, if you have been to old spaghetti factory in Vancouver, the price is about the same, but the pastas are better.

the only attractions i got was the Tulips....

Attraction:

If you leave early you can try to go different route than I5.. there is a drive similar to the sky highway to Whistler but with more stop along the way you can take picture.

1.  Take I5 and Exit at 250
2.  Follow Highway 11
3.  It will merge back into I5 in 1 hour or so. (and few mile before the tuplip stop)

Buffet

If you like Buffet, at the exit 25 something there is http://lycheebuffet.net/.  The food was okay.  In my option it's better than the casino buffet near the Premier outlet.

And when you exit the I5, there is an information center, remember to grab a map and the people there will kindly redirect you the right way to go to the tulips too.

Ya i agree with myversa,

the Chuckanut Dr. is a good place to take some picture, relax a little and a very nice drive with spectacular view.
