unfortunately there is no such thing as good and cheap

from my experience, if you base your decision on the price only, you may get terrible paperwork (missing details, inadequate information) with even horrible follow-up (or lack thereof).

we went with Susan Tong - not cheap but got the job done

i have a very simple document that just needs to be authenicated by a notary public

so don't want to spend too much money on it

any notary public shouldn't screw up on this.  I would just pick the closet one if I were you.
