I saw many positive review about Dr. Tsang AND many negative review about the receptionist! Dealing with unprofessional receptionists can be very frustrating.

I know her (receptionist) and because of so many online and actual complaints, she is much better now (more receptive and less bully/argumentative) ....

(*I guess she's afraid of losing her job afterall, because of her bad rap...*)

No worries on her. Just focus on finding out and see if either one of the 2 doctors taking new patients.

Alternatively, you can try the walk-in clinic in Aberdeen centre. There are some seriously good doctors (some from UBC hospital, like the eye surgeon who looked into my case) working part-time there.

My friend has been his patients for a long time and this is what I have heard from her

for myself, I go to Dr.Sammy Lee at 置地 since many years ago
I think he's ok. He is not the kind of doctor who smiles a lot, but he's knowledgeable.

Try getting into Aberdeen Centre walk-in clinic for the time being (register there and open a file), then gradually take it from there (to find a regular GP).

It's hard to find family doctor (hereby also refer to as "GP") in GVRD, for I know quite a few of them retired already.
