The 'Occupy Central' movement claims to be the manifestation of Hong Kong's desire for 'total democracy,' 'universal suffrage,' and 'freedom', and it appears to be a student led demonstration seeking the "one person one vote" system.
However, there are undeniable facts from various sources proving it to be a premeditated political campaign as opposed to a series of 'impromptu demonstrations'.
After combing through recent media reports regarding the outside influences on Occupy Central, we can form a more rational judgment of the nature of this movement.
January 2013
As early as in January 2013, organizers formed a plan to persuade 10,000 people to occupy roads in central Hong Kong, wrote BBC Newsnight chief correspondent Laura Kuenssberg. In her report on Oct. 24 , she pointed out that the ongoing Occupy Central movement in Hong Kong was far from being a series of "impromptu demonstrations."
According to Kuenssberg, "it is an 'open secret' at the Oslo Freedom Forum that plans were hatched to instigate the demonstrations", and that "the organizers' strategies were not just to plan the timing and nature of the demonstrations, but also how they would be run" .

An audio discussion recorded last year between Lai Chee-Ying, founder of Next Media, whom is believed to be the primary financial supporter of the Occupy Central movement, and Shih Ming-te, a notorious Taiwan independence advocate, was released by Hong Kong's Mingpao on July 22.
In the audio, Lai was soliciting advice from Shih on how to mastermind the street revolution in Hong Kong. Shih suggested that Lai organize the youth, in particular female students and ladies carrying babies, to join the movement, so as to attract sympathy from the media, the public and the international community.

The Hong Kong News Express' Facebook page recently revealed that the Hong Kong-America Center (HKAC) held a two-day workshop on March 15-16 to train college students and cultivate them to become the backbone of the 'Occupy Movement'.
Zijing magazine disclosed in its April volume that the HKAC workshop invited some party figures, international scholars, and politicians to teach students 'negotiation strategy' for mass demonstrations and how to set the 'non-negotiable bottom line and stance.'
The magazine pointed out that, even though the'Hong Kong-America Center' appears to be a non-profit alliance of universities with their presidents in its board, the organization actually relies on the U.S. Consul General in Hong Kong.

An AP report said that Vice President Joe Biden met with former Legislative Council member Martin Lee and former Chief Secretary Anson Chan, who are also very active in the Occupy Central movement, in the White House on April 5 to show support for democracy in Hong Kong.

US research fellow and writer for the Land Destroyer Tony Cartalucci disclosed in an article that 'Occupy Central' co-organizers Martin Lee and Anson Chan were also received by National Endowment for Democracy (NED) regional vice president Louisa Greve. The two introduced the 'Occupy Central' movement, its characters, agenda, demands, and talking points, according to Cartalucci.

At the end of May, Lai Chee-Ying met secretly with Paul Wolfowitz, US former Deputy Secretary of Defense. The two stayed on Lai's private yacht for about five hours. Mark Simon, senior Next Media Group executive, who has close relationship with US parties, was also on the yacht, according to the June 19 edition of Hong Kong's Eastweek.

On Sept. 23, five days before the 'Occupy Movement' broke out, Hong Kong-America Center (HKAC) provided iPhone 6's to 50 people, one iPhone per person. 16 key members of the 'Occupy Movement' were given specified devices for communication and relaying information. This was disclosed by 'True Brother of Democracy' in a recently posted confidential email sent by a staff member of HKAC on Oct. 13.
On Oct. 14, Takungpao's biz channel reported that the HK Labor Party chairman Lee Cheuk-yan, who was earlier disclosed as receiving Lai Chee-Ying's HKD 1.5 million in illegal donations, was again revealed as receiving abundant funds from the U.S. side, according to many documents uploaded by a netizen. These funds were used to create troubles in Hong Kong, including the Hong Kong dock strike in 2013 and the ongoing 'Occupy Movement.'
These documents confirm that the Hong Kong Confederation of Trade Unions, in which Lee Cheuk-yan serves as the general secretary, has received nearly HKD 13 million in donations from organizations under the U.S. National Endowment for Democracy (NED
