Some online stores only allow US shipping address with US billing address.
For us Canadian who may have US shipping address but Canadian visa card...that won't work. We have to shop at their corresponding international site which comes with HUGE shipping cost and jack up pricing of the item.
Is there a way to get around with it? Anyone able to get a US billing address card?
thx
there may be a chance where they (their customer support) might be able to instruct you RE: how to pay with your Canadian credit card and ship to US address(es).
I had similar trouble earlier last month...contacted their customer support to over-ride their online systems, paid for the merchandise and have them shipped to Pt. Roberts.
I tried calling customer rep too but no luck. They say shipping address country has to match billing address country ...
I wan to shop at Pottery Barn Kids but the local store does not have the stuff I want.
And online, it's selling $20 in US but $32 for the Cdn site, not counting much higher shipping cost to Cdn. And possible brokeage fee?
This won't work. The merchant is will looking for a US billing address, and the Canadian US Visa will still have your Canada address as billing.
I think you might be able to get around with a prepaid US Visa, just use the Point Robert address as home when you sign up the card then you should be fine.
I would say do some researches before taking my word for it.
