Two boys were discovered in their onesies in McDonald’s at 2am after sneaking out in the middle of the night. The two friends, aged 10 and 11, were found in a McDonald’s restaurant in Radcliffe, Bury on Sunday morning. They sneaked out for a late fast food snack during a sleepover. One of the boys was staying at the home of the other’s at the time. His mother was asleep and did not know they had left the house. A passer-by spotted the two boys walking along in their onesies at 2am and asked where they were going. They told her they were heading to the McDonald’s at the Riverside Retail Park in Radcliffe. She called 999 and police went to the 24-hour McDonald’s to find the two boys. The boys were unhurt and had walked ten minutes from home to the restaurant. A police spokesman told the Manchester Evening News: “A member of the public saw two lads walking along in their onesies on Blackburn Street. “She asked them where they were going and they said McDonald’s. Police then went to McDonalds. The kids said they didn’t know what time it was. “They were staying overnight at one of their mum’s houses. She was asleep and did not know that they had gone out. “The police took them back home and she got the shock of their life when she saw them.” The police did not take any further action. |
