I have the Eddie Bauer 3-in-1 car seat...it converts from a infant-toddler-to child booster seat...
also it has a weight limit of 35lbs for the reversible (infant) seating..which is great because babies are safest in the rear-facing position. So even if your baby is over a year old, they can seat in rear-facing until they are older. But the front-facing position is also okay from 21lbs, so if your baby is over 1 years old and over 21lbs, they can also face forward.
When my son gets older, I can remove the middle cushions and the seat will become a booster seat..which is now necessary in Canada for kids under 40lbs.
I spent $189 for one..but now I see many places (bay, sears) selling the same one for about $159. |
