Significant delays on SkyTrain’s Canada Line that began at 9:40 pm on Wednesday during heavy snowfall are continuing through the morning rush hour on Thursday.

TransLink says there is still no service to Vancouver International Airport, but a bus bridge shuttle is in place to serve the affected stations from Bridgeport Station to YVR Airport Station.

As well, trains are only operating on a single track over the North Arm Bridge over the Fraser River from Marine Drive Station to Bridgeport Station. As a result, delays are continuing with overcrowding and multi-train waits across the system.

There is no indication when normal train service will resume. While snowfall has ended, a freezing rain warning is in effect for Metro Vancouver.
