Salary: $16.88 per hour, plus 12% in lieu of benefits

Job Description:
Are you looking for a job where it’s important that everyone is having fun?! As an auxiliary Program Leader, you will meet once per week with a group of primary or elementary students at their school to lead them in recreational activities. Some of the programs that you might lead include: Floor Hockey, Badminton, Basketball, All-Sports, Cooking, Science, Construction, Crafts, Chess, or the Babysitters’ Basics Program. French speaking opportunities are also available!

Job Requirements:
Applicants must have graduated from Grade 12, and have experience planning and leading activities for children. Do you have experience in coaching, camp counseling, leading Scouts or Guides, tutoring, teaching Sunday School, or volunteering in recreation or childcare leadership? Have you taken any courses in child development, activity planning or leadership? These are the kinds of training and experience that help to prepare you for work as a Program Leader!
