I love 米線, so when i saw their commerical on the newspaper, i went there with my husband one night and figure out they were closed.  So next day, I go there again with my friend.  We ordered 麻辣米線 with some toppings.

And we also ordered the 榴槤 pudding since we saw that the chef took so many dessert pics with the celebrities, then his desserts must be good la...but...we both wanna puke after the first bite.  We both love 榴槤 and 香港發記既榴槤飄香係我哋既至愛 but this thing is totally off...

For the 米線, too soft, the soup is ok but not the one i expected (like 香港既譚仔).  To my opinion, the soup should not be clear for good soup base but theirs are.  The topping, my 白羅白 didn't cook through, still a bit hard and bitter and no taste.  I will give it 5/10 but my friend gave it 8/10.  Haven't try their chicken wings since we ordered dessert but might go again and try.  Will give them one more chance since they were just newly opened.

I tried the other 2 desserts and they're really good...

but i must say that their noodles are quite plain and not worth the money..
i ordered the chicken wings with the rice in soup and it wasn't special...it tasted like something we can cook at home

but i did see many people order their dishes of rice...dunno if they're good or not

those of you who like to eat 米線, there's a new place call "米線之王" on Kingsway , near Boundary (where "外麵" used to be) .... they offer a variety of 米線, ie. 緬甸魚湯米線.... really good! and they are offering free bbt now   .... since is grand opening

Oh, thanks for the tips that "外麵" has a new store and its noodles and free bbt! That spot is a bit "haunted" in the sense that restaurants don't last long...I'll check it out soon! ^_^
