VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - It's now official, and final. A second (and complete) recount of federal election results in Vancouver South has not changed the result. Incumbent Liberal Ujjal Dosanjh has retained his seat by 20 votes over Conservative Party candidate Wai Young.

The original recount gave Dosanjh a win by only 22 votes instead of the 33-vote margin on election night. The original recount was protested by Young, because a number of ballot boxes were not opened.

This story teaches us that EVERY single vote counts.

Yep, definitely voting for Dosanjh next time.  Never would have imagine Conservatives can get my riding....... those stupid ppl who only vote because of race.......

Many stupid people in the riding voted for Liberal just because of his race, that was why he won. He did nothing at all. There is no way Liberal can take the riding next time.

Yes. but where are the Chinese? I saw tons of South Asian though, old and young. Honestly, to win this political game, you need your friend's friends and all their relatives. South Asian knows and plays the game well, I really think the political future could be theirs: Just look at the number of South Asian MP/MLA/CC in BC.

They always elect their own race, whether the candidate is good or not. The way the Chinese play the game now, it is hard to elect more Chinese.
