Every profession/trade get their "pay" according to their charactrestic. When they make the money, they "paid" something out on the other side.

we all know POLICE/RCMP is over paid .. and UNDER work ..  ( oh ..  and they get DISCOUNT from Tim horton / BP )

Even u will see them in tim horton more  ..   

I think Police/RCMP give out $30million ticket to us ..  so .. by taking small % from there ..  of cours,e good income la..

That is why .. my co worker is trying very hard to be RCMP ..  

PLUS .. after u retire .. still get $$$$$$$$$  

$100K is thier average income la..  otherwise, how can they drive BENZ/BMW .. and go BP all the time !!!

I just read that a jail guard in California brings home 300,000 a year.

A police commander can retire at 40 and receives 65,000 in pension every year.

i think it's unfair to judge the salary of police officers. they do have to face danger situations. they also had to go thro lots of trainings. you don't see as many cops foot patrolling on the streets like in hk. cos that's just not efficient in such large area.

well, part of their jobs also involve paper/computer work. that's why some times you see cop's cars parked on the side of a street and u thought for no real reason. and the cop was just typing up his/her reports.

btw you can't judge how important a person's job is just by how much they get paid.
