[中餐館] king crab

wanna have king crab this weekend... any good restaurant??

dunno which one is the best but for sure don't go to wong fu cheng because they cheat on weight.

i think yi yuan (the one in the staples mall) should be quite good...
although the price is a bit expensive.. but they got an award for cooking the king crab ga..=w=

haha..wong fu cheng   is known for bad quality food..

my suggestion, don't go to those $8 or $9 crab.  go for $10 - $12 ones.

Nothing personal. But I wonder, isn't cooking a king crab could be very easy to do? The main thing is to cook a live crab instead of a already-dead one. Then the simplest way is to put some fresh garlic mixed with little salt and oil on it and steam it, that's it. The award winning cooking skill apply to king crab could be a waste.

yes ar yes ar.. i think most places put garlic and steam or deep fry the other part of the crab...
but i think yi yuen has other ways of cooking the crab.. which i forgot what it was...
you can find it in on of the ming pao friday cook book~

Yes, I just tried yi yuen last week. For the leg, they have steam and garlic, 2 different way for the legs (Personally, I like it steam). For the body, they do a "dry curry", which is better than deep fry! And for the shell, they use it for bake rice which also have crab meat in the rice too. It is pretty good
