Went down to my car yesterday night to pick up something (back alley open kind of parking lot) , saw a guy came out from my car's driver seat. Yelled at him, guy took off with his own stolen car and I called the police. Police came and checked my car, asked me if my lock is damaged before, I said yes (and the lock still works) coz someone was trying to break into my car earlier. Then police said having a lock like that got no protection from thieves and they can break into my car easily. So, the conclusion is, my car got broken in and it is all my own fault.

But I kinda agree with the police (sorry to say)...Even if the lock is working, put a bar across the steering wheel is good...Here we can't rely on the police to do anything...
The thief didn't take anything coz I guess he just got into my car, the sad thing is even the cop think it is ok for the thief to break into a car when my lock is not in perfect condition....
well..dun expect to much on the police.. they are still having a hard time figuring out what's going on these days with those homicides... if u ask them what's good for tim horton..i think they can answer it right away...
my brother's car got broken into in metrotown parking lot awhile ago..
and the car alarm didnt set off at all even it was locked..=o="
so no one either the security knew....
