A1C pissed me off

Hi LYKs,

Their reception is super bad. Service is super bad. Overall, a very bad experience dealing w/ them.

Can anyone recommend some other broadband phone company? Many thanks~

By the way, can anyone share their experiences w/ A1C aswell?

打返香港好方便,直撥8個字就ok,老人家好鐘意
佢o地d服務幾好,打親電話都有人聽,試過幾次個寬頻盒有問題,佢o地o係電話教我set up

如果打美加其他地方我就用TieUs, 收得好好,同埋佢o地d plan 幾o岩我用.

我以前都用AIC,佢o地又要收min. charge,d 人服務又唔好,已經close o左account

i have been using the long distance plan from AIC since when my family first immigrated... and for sure during any big holiday (xmas, chinese new year) the phone NEVER works!

they also charge you those voicemail calls... like when you call someone's phone and it fly to their voicemail... even if you hang up right away... they charge you for that 1 min...= =

the only thing good about it is you can use it without worrying internet connections or anything like that..=P good to have it as backup though..

O well, since they provide cheap service, I guess you have to lower your expectation. if you want quality  then go with Telus.

I used AIC at 99-00 years.  But i don't like their sales and admin attitudes.  My experienced:

I went back hk for like 2 or 3 months (I forgot). So i miss the payment of something like $80 dollars. They closed my account and pass to collection department. It is very piss me off.....

Just $80 dollars, and only miss payment like 2-3 months, They have my credit card number, they can auto deduct from my accout, but they said I didn't authorize they do that...what the ****...if i don't authorize them so how can I give out my credit card to them...

After that, i have no longer to use the AIC, and I tell all my friend no to use AIC.

I used AIC home phone for about 2 years and internet services for 1 year.

I ccomplained 4~5 times about quality of the line,  ( family member do not know I called if I make one time only).  Their answer to my question " no customer filed this kind of issue and may be something wrong with your ISP". I told them I have your internet services too, then they said " we rent lines from Telus and nothing they can do." (That turn my dececision to terminate internet services)

I complained 2 Times about payment and never got solution to my question. Their calculation of GST and PST is not correct cos each time is 1~2 cents more than my calculator.    They charged $1,  because they send me a PAPER bill stating I have a one month overdue of $9.- plus overdue payment ($9) interest, plus new balance of another new payment of $9 for the current month.

Waiting and Talking to those  ??? Customer Service Representative is waste of time.  Why I make this conclusion, because waiting time is at least 1/2 hour and solution to the question is just better than zero.

Some dude agree " What you got equal to what you paid". So what services we should expected for $9.-   ?!?!????X?/?~?
LYK,  please post your expected monthly VOIP service for $9.-  and tell me your phone service provider and $ you paid .
