Chanel - Beaute Initiale Energizing

Any one used Chanel - Beaute Initiale Energizing before?
I want to try but not sure is this line good for anti-aging and I never used Chanel stuff before too.

I have never use Chanel's skin care product before, but I've heard that their quality is not bad and the price is actually not crazy expensive either.  Someone recommended their lotion or cleasner to me... one of the two.  My anti-aging product choice is Biotherm.

Hi princess mocha,

Yeah I use Age Fitness.  I use the one with SPF in day time.  For night cream, I alternate between Age Fitness and Line Peel.  My skin tends to look dull, and the sales at Biotherm recommended Line Peel to me because it has exfloiating quality.  She said that because I only need anti-aging products at a preventive measure at my age (late 20s), I don't need to use Line Peel everynight.  My skin improved a lot since I use Biotherm skin care products, but I've heard that some people are allergic to Biotherm.  You may want to go to a Biotherm counter and ask them for some samples to test them on your skin before making a purchase.  Are you from Vancouver?  The sales at Biotherm counters in Oakridge Center The Bay and Richmond Center The Bay are very helpful.  They provided me a lot of tips in skin care and product selection.

Hi AmericanBeauty,
I was allergic to Biotherm oily skin line (blue one - Bipour) moisturizer. My skin was very dry after using it and had bumps. I think that's the only one I am allergic to. I never used any anti-aging skincare before.
My skin is more oily type not sure is line peel too rich for me? and Age Fitness too?
Your skin type is Dry?

Princessmocha,
I have combination / oily skin.  Age Fitness works actually really well for my skin, especially the day cream with SPF.  I can really feel sun screen making my face oily if it is too strong, but I don't get that with the Age Fitness one.  Line Peel may be a little too rich for people with sensitive skin.  It is actually not a very rich cream - Age Fitness is thicker then Line Peel.  Some of the Biotherm products are stronger then others and the sales lady told me that I can still use them every other day or two, three times a week as long as my skin does not have allergic reaction to them.  I find the Age Fitness products very soothing; they are worth a try!

I used to have rather oily skin, but I didn't use products designed for oily skin because they dried my skin too much.  I went for products for combination skin instead.  I also made sure I use a good toner and cleaned up clogged pores regularly.  My skin's condition had improved a lot over the years from doing that.  If you have oily skin but it is not to a point where you have a lot of break outs, try to use products for combination skin instead and clean your face often.  Products with moisture content (aque, not oil) tend to help too as they make your skin think that you are getting enough moisture and your skin won't produce so much oil to compensate.  I used Face Oasis from H2O for a while, and I am using the Biotherm Source Therapie serum at the moment.
